Full Service Equine and Equestrian Education Facility

Greetings from Ace-High!

Ace-High has experienced eighteen wonderful years of non-stop and very rewarding work offering clients from around the world exceptional services and a wealth of knowledge at their fingertips. We have assisted thousands of people with their needs involving horses over the years. It has truly been a pleasure to have been able to serve everyone over the years.

For return users of our website, you may notice that it is not the same as before. A lot of things are very different than before. Ace-High is taking a minimum of six months of vacation from the business side of things to become a private farm for that period of time. It is time for us to enjoy our horses and spend time with our loved ones. These are two things that have been set to the side during the operation of the business.

What this means to new clients is that no services will be offered at the farm. The farm will strictly have the horses which belong to Ace-High at it. Our most popular services, including boarding, training, lessons, camps, and parties, will also not be offered during this period of time.

For our current clients, this means that the last day of instructional services is Saturday, November 7, 2009. The last day for all other services, including boarding and training is Thursday, December 31, 2009. A list of preferred recommended boarding facilities and lesson instructors may be requested by calling the farm at 615-824-0301. Our great lesson horses are going to a program in Goodlettsville (about 3 miles off of Dickerson Road) and will be used to teach lessons during this six month break. All current lesson students will be contacted with pricing and to set up a time for their lessons the weekend of November 12th.

This facility has a huge indoor arena with stadium seating and fireplaces to keep you comfy during the winter. They also have a covered round pen for working on certain skills. For the first one to two weeks, we will be going over to assist with the lessons in order for it to be as smooth of a transition as possible. We will also be there periodically as they need to have days off for shows and travel. They teach in a similar manner to us and have excellent safety skills and guidelines. In addition, roping lessons and more western performance lessons are offered for those of you who would like to try something different for a lesson or more (who knows you might want to switch over to it).

The lessons will resume at this facility around the week of Thanksgiving.

The announcement for our vacation was to occur at the Halloween party, but due to a very small percentage of our clients there, the announcement was not made. It would have been the ideal time so that everyone was in one place at one time, however it did not happen. We have been contacting clients as we see them and can get in touch with them, but that means that there is a chance that someone else can say something to someone who has not been notified by us yet. In this case, it has not been a client telling other clients, as it has been someone with their own agenda. At times like this it is necessary to take everything that you hear from anyone other than the owner or authorized agents of Ace-High with a grain of salt.

There are several rumors going around about Ace-High and the exact details of what is going on. Unfortunately one person has taken it upon themselves to promote their future endeavors rather than making sure that you are told the truth and have your needs addressed. We would like to apologize on behalf of this person for what they have said and done to you all. It just goes to show that not everyone has your best interest at heart.

To straighten out the incorrect statements which have been made, Ace-High has not been sold. Ace-High is a business that will continue to operate into the future after this vacation time is over. We simply need some time to recuperate, spend time with ill family members, and actually be able to enjoy our horses to the fullest ability. These are things which are important to us, which is why this is being done. This transition into this vacation with rumors and flat out lies being told is just one example why we need some time away from that portion of the horse industry.

Also, Ace-High is not closing as the rumors that have gotten back to us have stated. We are simply becoming a private farm for this period of time. In order to allow us to do the things which we desire to do, it is necessary for only Ace-High’s horses to be at the farm. The thing which is true that is going on at the farm is that the Piedmont Gas Company has placed a pipeline across our lower fields and they are constructing a service building in that area. They had to condemn the property in order to take it as we were not going to just hand it over to them. We are now involved in a lengthy case with them.

The newest rumors include that we are selling all of the horses at auction. This is a huge lie. It would be just as outrageous and as large of a flat out lie as possible even if they would have said that only one horse was going to auction. First, we would never take a horse to a horse sale/auction. We have donated one pony to a charity auction where we knew what type of family they would go to and had a guarantee of someone being the high bidder if it was not an adequate home. A charity auction is not a horse sale/auction in any way. We do not agree with ethics of horse sales/auctions, and our morals require us to know where the horses go to. There is not a single horse that belonged to Ace-High that we do not know where they are even years later. Anyone who knows us will recognize these claims against us as being blatant lies. Some people will go to any length, regardless of it their conduct is unprofessional or not, in order to see to the growth of their own business or self. The part of this which is outrageous is that there are children involved, and what has been done to you, our valued clients, and your children is an utter shame, absolutely ridiculous, and not called for.

As we hear of more malicious rumors and accusations being charged against us, we will post the rebuttal on this site.

The horse industry is a funny industry that we often call the soap opera life. As you can see, the gossip which has gone around in just a week is enough to make your head spin. Trust us it is as we try to get the correct information to you in a timely manner. Try dealing with that for eighteen years. We simply need a break to do the things that we need to in our personal lives. It is amazing how stories get twisted and turned without ever being what they truly are. We hope that this information straightens out some things if you have heard what has gone through the grapevine.

If you need any assistance with anything pertaining to this matter or if you have questions, please feel free to contact us at the farm at 615-824-0301.

We look forward to seeing you all in the near future!

The Ace-High Team

New "wrong" information to be corrected:

It has come to our attention that more incorrect information is being passed around. The incorrect information is about our lesson horses and programs. The correct information includes that the lesson horses are not moving to Long Hollow Farm and that the lesson program is not moving to Long Hollow Farm. Nor are we assisting Long Hollow Farm with the set up of their program or assisting them with anything which has been told to people in the past few days.

As mentioned above, the lesson horses are going to a farm in Goodlettsville for lessons during this six month period. Please check back for updates on information on that farm (lessons starting around Thanksgiving) and for the details on the open house.
